Mindful Monday - Essential oils to support mental wellbeing

Online event - Price: FREE for Torbay residents - Duration: 1hr 30 min

Join with like-minded folk for an hour and a half of mindful chat, inspiration, tips and techniques to help support you and others with positive mental wellbeing. You won’t be talked at; this is an interactive session where you have a great opportunity to try out various tools and activities to take away and use. Most weeks we’ll have a guest and we have some great activity leaders and guests lined up!
 
This week our guest is Peta Feist from Oily Living who will take us through the benefits and science behind essential oils in supporting mental well-being. We’ll also explore your own current state of mental wellbeing and you’ll learn some great hints and tips to take away with you and help you support others.
 
These individual workshops are closed to a maximum of 12 attendees (18 years +) to ensure that everyone has a chance to speak, ask questions and interact. It’s a safe, confidential space where issues and concerns can be raised in a non-judgemental space. We ask that all attendees please respect that.

Do you dare to dream? We’ll also explore your own current state of mental wellbeing and you’ll learn some great hints and tips to take away with you and help you support others.

This week our guest is James Devine from Onwards Life Coaching who will lead a discussion on negative self talk and the detrimental effect it can have on living our best life. James will take us through an exercise which aims to reframe negative self talk and increase confidence and self belief. We’ll also explore your own current state of mental wellbeing and you’ll learn some great hints and tips to take away with you and help you support others.

Elaine is a master in colour therapy and today she’s sharing a tool called Colour Mirrors which helps us to explore our current state of mental well-being. We’ll also learn how we can use colour in our day to day lives to improve our mood.
